Dr. Micke Nilsson has more than 20 years of experience in technical development of chemical engineering separation processes. He has worked on a range of different projects in Europe, USA and Australia including REE separation, chemical treatment of nuclear waste, and extraction and purification of battery minerals. He did his Doctorate at Chalmers University, Sweden and post-doc at Washington State University. He was a professor of Chemical Engineering at University of California Irvine for 10 years before moving to Australia to work in the mining industry. He is currently the Technical Manager for the TECH Project at QPM Energy.
